Remote Sales Director (Financial Services)

They are seeking a Sales Director with a financial services background to source, nurture, and close new clients, focusing on building strong relationships with midsize to enterprise-level clients in the Financial Services sector.
Responsibilities
Building strong, long-lasting relationships with midsize to enterprise-level clients, with a remit across industries and a primary focus on Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, Fintech, and Investment Management) industries
Originating and nurturing business relationships resulting in engagement opportunities
Presenting unique value propositions tailored to the needs of potential clients' senior executives
Developing strong, long-lasting relationships with potential clients
Scoping projects, shaping engagements, and helping define business solutions that satisfy client needs and achieve desired business outcomes
Planning, implementing, and managing lead generation, sales activities, and pipelines to meet annual revenue targets and business goals
Planning resources, organizing and mobilizing teams (including solution design, UX, technical, engagement management, staffing, and delivery teams) throughout complex sales cycles
Understanding and assisting in managing and mitigating key risks through tactical plans and actions
Qualification
Required
5+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services sectors with exposure to technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives
Strong experience in business development, institutional sales, relationship management, or client advisory within the financial services sector
Proven success in sourcing, nurturing, and closing midsize and Enterprise accounts within financial services or institutional markets
Excellent understanding of the Financial Services industry, including key players, strategies, client structure, business models, sub-verticals, needs, challenges, and key trends
Demonstrated strategic, creative, and analytical approach with a focus on initiating and building client relationships
Strong understanding of financial systems, regulatory compliance technology, trading platforms, and technological challenges commonly faced in the financial services industry
Ability to deliver compelling presentations tailored to potential clients' needs
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
Native English or fully bilingual (English)
