Hanna Instruments is a global leader in manufacturing high-quality analytical instrumentation, and they are seeking a Vice President of Sales & Marketing for their US Office in Smithfield, RI. This role will lead all aspects of the US sales organization, focusing on executing the sales strategy to scale the business and enhance market share through key accounts and relationships.

Responsibilities

Hands-on management style and proven success leading sales and operations teams specifically driving results, coaching strong performance with frequent communication
A goal-oriented management style that creates enthusiasm and motivation in the team, supports willingness to change and sustainable development of employees’ potential
Brings understanding of key industry trends and can drive execution of the strategies; rapidly identifies issues and solves problems quickly and efficiently
Experienced executing a sales management infrastructure capable of maintaining strong quarter-to-quarter revenue growth rates while demonstrating strong pipeline, process, forecasting, demand generation, and sales predictability
A set of personal characteristics which include strong leadership presence, a can-do attitude, collaborative, high energy, with a focus on driving a results driven organization
Proven ability to perform in a consultative, collaborative manner while building trust and cooperation with colleagues and stakeholders
Strong operational skills with the proven ability to guide and manage an organization through a period of accelerated revenue growth

Required

Bachelor's degree required
On-site full-time in the Smithfield, RI office
At least 7+ years of progressive sales and operations experience in an instrumentation or technical based organization
A strong record of sales in the Analytical Instrumentation market is strongly recommended
Strong communication skills both oral and written
Superb business judgment and ability to think through complex business issues
A personality with a high level of self-motivation and initiative, with an intense focus on results
Occasional travel up to 25%
