Sustainable Design and Sales Specialist

Mountain Lumber Company is seeking a motivated and creative Sales & Design Consultant with a focus on sustainability. In this role, you will work closely with clients to develop tailored design solutions and guide them through the sales process from initial consultation through project completion.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple customers by building strong relationships while prioritizing tasks, coordinating communication, tracking project progress, and ensuring timely follow-up to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience

Utilize data and reporting skills to track performance metrics, analyze sales and project data, and generate accurate reports

Order supplies in a cost-effective manner by evaluating production requirements, sourcing competitive pricing, placing accurate purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring quality and timely availability

Assist with tracking and documenting sustainability initiatives, including material usage, recycling efforts, and efficiency improvements

Input and manage sustainability-related data within internal systems and larger databases used for carbon and emissions tracking

Support reporting related to environmental performance and sustainability certifications

Periodic travel to facilities, job sites, or partners to collect information and support sustainability initiatives

Required

Proficiency in QuickBooks, Salesforce, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Smartsheet

Prior sales and customer service experience

Strong mathematical and analytical skills
