Responsibilities
Manage parts pool configuration of available & applicable parts by program/model type
Evaluate impact of service bulletins, mandatory changes, customer options, engineering change memos, part drawing changes and part interchangeability updates
Make changes in Master Part Data Library (MPDL)
Induct specific models into MPDL and understand model contract requirements related to parts configuration management
Investigate and provide solutions to parts engineering related customer requests
Draft, coordinate and manage customer Part Configuration Agreements (PCAs)
Coordinate with other engineering groups, supplier management, program management, finance and other on-site Boeing support groups
Communicate with suppliers and customers inside and outside of Boeing
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
Experience: 5+ years of related work experience with Boeing engineering requirements and processes
Technical Skills: Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders
Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
2+ years of experience in Production Configuration Management
Experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations
Experience working with suppliers and customers
Experience with PDM, CAPP, REDARS, PSDS, IVT, WIRS, VELOCITY, ENOVIA, MyBoeingFleet, SRP, STEPS
