Travel Edge is a fast-growing entrepreneurial company seeking a Luxury Travel Advisor to join their team. This role involves planning, booking, and managing travel for clients while providing excellent customer service and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

Respond to client inquiries in a timely fashion with detailed information about destinations, transportation options, and travel accommodations
Research and design engaging proposals aligned with client preferences, budget, and needs
Book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel arrangements using company booking platforms and best practices for excellent client satisfaction and retention. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions
Handle travel issues or emergencies promptly and efficiently
Stay up-to-date with travel trends, restrictions, and regulations to provide accurate information to clients
Collaborate with team members to provide travel insight, as well as to gain insight into potential ideas for clientele
Participate in network and company team meetings and retreats
Foster relationships through consistent communication using established company communication platforms
Curate marketing in order to attract the ideal clientele
Work to meet weekly and monthly sales goals
Other duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
Additional education in travel, tourism, or a related field is a plus
Proven experience organizing travel for business or personal use
Excellent command of written and spoken English, with precise grammar usage; bilingual is preferred for communication with clients internationally
Personal experience with both domestic and international travel is considered advantageous
Passion for travel and a strong desire to help others experience the world
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Experience processing payment information and working with confidential information
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Basic computer skills; familiarity with booking systems and software is an advantage
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Access to own technology (computer & phone will not be provided)
Reliable and quiet workspace
Comfortable working across various technology systems

Preferred

Bachelor's degree
Bilingual for communication with clients internationally
Personal experience with both domestic and international travel
Previous customer service experience
