Structural Project Engineer - Commercial Focus

Alliant Human Capital is seeking a Structural Project Engineer with a commercial focus to join Anthem Structural Engineers. The role involves owning projects from design through construction while collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and project managers on commercial and industrial projects throughout Colorado and the Mountain West.

Management Consulting

Responsibilities

Design and detail complete structural systems and components for commercial and industrial projects
Apply comprehensive knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, and wood systems
Prepare, coordinate, and review drawings, specifications, and calculations
Perform construction administration including shop drawing reviews, RFIs, site visits, and field reports
Troubleshoot and solve complex design and construction issues
Manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets with accountability and precision
Coordinate directly with architects, contractors, and consultants to maintain clarity and alignment
Assign and review work with BIM and design staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Maintain Anthem’s quality assurance standards on all deliverables
Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development
Participate in internal project meetings and contribute to firm-wide initiatives
Receive ongoing coaching and technical training from senior engineers to deepen your expertise
Build strong relationships with clients through responsiveness and reliability

Required

5–7 years of experience in structural engineering (commercial and/or industrial experience preferred)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, or ability to obtain Colorado licensure within 6 months
Proficiency in Revit Structure, RISA 2D/3D, RAM, and related structural analysis software
Strong technical understanding of steel, concrete, and masonry design
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Located in or willing to relocate to Colorado's Front Range
