The intern will collaborate with various teams on engineering projects, suggest improvements, and ensure compliance with safety standards while maintaining quality across products and processes.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with team members from Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Sales on relevant engineering projects
Utilize current tools and skills to suggest improvements or future developments. This includes providing feedback to their manager regarding new ideas and improvements that can enhance functionality, efficiency and/or profitability of a design or tool
Exemplify Kingsbury’s safety mindset by complying with all safety requirements and acting as a safety ambassador
Attend all company-required trainings and meetings (e.g., safety and department meetings)
Provides updates and feedback to the subject matter experts based on assigned tasks
Oversee and maintain the quality according to Kingsbury Quality Assurance standards across Kingsbury products and processes
Complete special projects, continuous improvement initiatives and all other duties as assigned
Perform other duties, as necessary
Qualification
Required
You must have completed your sophomore or junior year and be currently working toward an engineering degree from an accredited University or College recognized by the US Secretary of Education and/or US Department of Education
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrates interest in design and analysis through school projects and hobbies
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Proficiency with MS Office tools
Preferred
Experience with Autodesk Inventor or ANSYS desired
