Responsibilities
Responsible for performing tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, and management of materials, supplies, and equipment
Receives and prepares incoming materials for input into inventory. Verifies the quantity and condition of materials
Loads/unloads boxes, pallets, etc. onto the truck for delivery
Prepares records of goods shipped and received, maintains accurate inventory count, and resolves discrepancies via appropriate computer program
Sorts and places materials on racks or shelves according to a predetermined sequence
Assists in performing physical inventory to ensure adequate stocking levels
May call vendors or suppliers for quotes and estimated delivery schedules
Utilizes appropriate method of identification for labeling materials, i.e., bar codes. May prepare parcels for mailing or pallets for outbound shipping
Maintains a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and work area, which may include basic janitorial duties
Able to accommodate rushed and established Service Level Agreements (SLA)
Qualification
Required
Must have skills: Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Shipping and Receiving
High school diploma or equivalent
Zero to one year of related experience
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must possess an appropriate state driver's license
Ability to understand basic instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Basic reading, writing, and organizational skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Preferred
Computer experience in Word and Excel preferred
