Responsibilities

Receive and verify the quantity and description of materials received by checking against a packing slip and reporting and/or recording any discrepancies or damaged items

Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly. Load properly to ensure complete delivery

Rework damaged finished goods, properly date coding and palletizing for distribution to warehouse

Assist with month end inventory when necessary

Assist with date code capture and proper rotation of inventory

Qualification

Material handling equipment certificationWarehouseDistribution experienceBasic math skillsReading skillsReasoning skills

Required

Ability to regularly move/lift up to 50 pounds unassisted

Ability to spend the required shift hours (8-12 depending on shift) standing, walking, lifting, pulling and pushing

Certification of material handling equipment

Ability to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment

Solid reading skills, basic math skills and reasoning skills

Responsible for being knowledgeable of and acting in strict accordance with the requirements of all relevant laws, regulations, and Company policies, including, among other areas, Food and Drug Administration regulations

Preferred

Warehouse and distribution experience, including material handling equipment experience
