Responsibilities
Engage with stakeholders early to understand data requirements and convert them into test cases
Develop and maintain automated tests to verify code quality and prevent regressions
Build and expand automation frameworks to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency
Collaborate with data engineers and quality engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage
Participate in code reviews and foster a culture of continuous improvement
Contribute to building a quality-first mindset across the organization
Support CI/CD processes through integrated testing solutions using Azure Pipelines
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in automation testing, with a focus on Python and Pytest
Strong SQL skills, with experience working with dbt preferred
Knowledge of behavior-driven development (BDD) approaches (e.g., Cucumber, Gherkin)
Hands-on experience with modern cloud data lakehouse technologies such as Databricks or Snowflake
Ability to understand business data needs and translate them into test requirements
Experience collaborating within agile Scrum teams
Excellent attention to detail and a risk-based approach to testing
