New GradFinding Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping locate missing children and supporting their families. As a Volunteer Missing Children Online Researcher, you will use your research skills to identify leads on missing children across Central & Northern California and Northern Nevada, playing a crucial role in reconnecting families.

Responsibilities
Conduct online investigative research using social media, public databases, and open-source platforms
Identify potential leads on missing children and document findings clearly and accurately
Assist in connecting families to our team for immediate support
Communicate with sensitivity, compassion, and clarity
Work closely with the Director of Aftercare to ensure timely information flow
Qualification
Required
Natural curiosity and exceptional online research skills
Comfort navigating platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and public databases
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot patterns
Strong written communication for family outreach and case notes
Emotional maturity, empathy, and discretion
The ability to work independently while staying in consistent communication with our team
A heart for helping vulnerable youth and their families
Preferred
Minimum one-year commitment preferred
More than 3-5 hours per week preferred
