National Workday Practice Manager
Medix Technology is a dynamic workforce solutions provider focused on connecting top talent with companies in the Healthcare, Life Sciences, and IT industries. The National Workday Practice Manager will build the Workday Advisory and Staffing division, acting as a trusted advisor to clients while overseeing project management and talent acquisition for Workday implementations.
Responsibilities
Sales Support & Client Advisory
Strategic "Client-Side" Sales: Pitch advisory services that help clients with Software Selection, Phase 0 Planning and Post-Production Support (AMS) Strategies
Staffing Scoping: Collaborate with clients to identify specific talent gaps and define the technical requirements for those roles
Relationship Management: Build a network of "Buyer" relationships (CIOs, CHROs, CFO’s, Controllers and Supply Chain Leaders) who view you as an objective voice independent of the software vendor
Talent Pipeline & Quality Oversight
Advisory Governance: Provide high-level "Quality Assurance" and “Executive Sponsorship” to our Advisory and Staffing Customers to ensure we are delivering to client expectations
Vetting & Curation: Oversee the technical interviewing and vetting process for all Workday consultants added to the firm’s roster to ensure quality
Bench Management: Maintain a high-quality "community" of certified Workday freelancers and consultants, ensuring they are engaged and available for firm projects
Offering Development (Advisory Focus)
MedixDirect® Talent Creation Model support and development for GTM execution
Expansion of our MedixFlex® post-production support model, and other AMS support strategies for our customers
Workday JumpStart: Develop a program to assist clients in their pre-planning and readiness activities to be prepared for kick-off and project launch
Health Checks: Develop a standardized "Workday Health Check" offering to audit existing implementations and identify optimization opportunities
M&A Advisory: Create specialized offerings for clients undergoing mergers or divestitures who need to consolidate Workday tenants
Vendor Management: Advise clients on how to manage their primary Implementation Partner (SI), providing "Shadow Project Management" to mitigate project creep
Thought Leadership
Market Trends: Provide insights on the "Workday Labor Market," advising clients on fair market rates for talent and emerging skills in demand (e.g. Illuminate, Workday Extend)
Industry Presence: Position the firm as the premier destination for Workday talent through webinars and networking at Workday Rising and other industry events
Qualification
Required
Experience in Workday Advisory and Staffing division
Ability to act as a trusted advisor, strategist, and talent partner to C-suite and ERP executives
Experience in strategic client-side sales, including software selection and post-production support strategies
Strong relationship management skills with CIOs, CHROs, CFOs, Controllers, and Supply Chain Leaders
Experience in providing high-level quality assurance and executive sponsorship
Ability to oversee technical interviewing and vetting processes for Workday consultants
Experience in maintaining a high-quality community of certified Workday freelancers and consultants
Ability to support and develop talent creation models for go-to-market execution
Experience in developing post-production support models and other AMS support strategies
Ability to develop programs to assist clients in pre-planning and readiness activities
Experience in creating standardized offerings for auditing existing implementations
Ability to advise clients on managing their primary Implementation Partner
Experience in providing insights on the Workday Labor Market and advising clients on fair market rates
Ability to position the firm as a premier destination for Workday talent through industry events
