Responsibilities
Analyze and summarize new and existing regulations across various industries, distilling complex legal and regulatory language into clear, actionable insights
Draft concise summaries and guidance documents for regulatory changes, ensuring timely publication on our member platform
Monitor legislative and regulatory activity at the federal, state, and local level to identify relevant updates and trends
Publish regulatory updates and interpretations for distribution to internal teams and subscribed members, ensuring consistency and accuracy
Collaborate and partner with lawyers, non-lawyers, and cross-functional teams to provide regulatory expertise and support organizational objectives
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in regulatory affairs, government relations, public policy, or legislative research or staff roles (including working on Capitol Hill or in a government agency)
Strong skills in legal research, regulatory analysis, and written communication
Demonstrated ability to translate complex regulations into user-friendly summaries for a non-legal audience
Adept at managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with attorneys, policymakers, and internal business teams
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
JD or paralegal certification preferred but not required
