The role involves owning key aspects of the month-end close, supporting financial reporting, and partnering closely with the Controller to ensure smooth and timely close cycles in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
Assist with financial reporting and support close and audit-related needs
Support inventory and cost accounting processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis
Assist with customer billing activities, including billing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounting experience
Strong month-end close and general ledger experience
Inventory and cost accounting exposure
Attention to detail and ability to work independently in an interim environment
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
Compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies
Preferred
Manufacturing experience
ERP: SAP or Oracle
