Responsibilities
Conduct field work and prepare information for managers, colleagues, and clients
Work on data analysis, reporting, and completion of permits
Participate in assessments, design concepts or components thereof, and perform comparative cost analyses
Evaluate the potential impact of federal, state and local environmental regulations
Prepare critical information for public information meetings and hearings
Collect samples, provide drilling oversight, and construction operation assistance
Collect, analyze, and report on geological, hydrological, biological, or other scientific conditions at the proposed project site
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science or related field
Valid US driver's license is required
Minimum of 1 year related experience required
EPA-accredited asbestos building inspector certification required
Demonstrates an interest in continued learning of the respective scientific discipline
Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel is required
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
Strong ability to work in a team environment
Must have the ability to work in the field in different weather conditions
Must be able to physically navigate in the field
Preferred
Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit is a plus
EPA-accredited asbestos project designer certification a plus
EPA Lead Inspector / Risk Assessor a plus
