The role involves assisting in the design, development, and optimization of backend services for IoT applications, while collaborating with experienced engineers and contributing to impactful projects.

Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, optimization and deployment of backend services for IoT applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT devices with cloud-based platforms
Participate in the development of APIs and microservices to support IoT data processing and analytics
Help in optimizing and scaling backend systems to handle large volumes of IoT data
Conduct testing and debugging of backend services to ensure reliability and performance
Document technical specifications and processes for future reference
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IoT and backend development
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Very good understanding of programming languages such as Typescript, Python, Java, C or Node.js
Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
Experience with IoT device firmware development is an advantage
Mobile Development experience is an advantage
