This role involves taking ownership of key accounting functions, supporting monthly close and reporting, and collaborating closely with leadership and operations in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.
Real Estate
Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly financial statements and supporting schedules
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
Develop and analyze job cost and project-level financial reports
Assist with commission processing and review of sales agreements
Support external audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Partner with internal teams on financial analysis, reporting, and special projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong Excel skills and general ledger experience
Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism
Preferred
CPA preferred (or active pursuit)
Experience in homebuilding, construction, real estate development, or property management strongly preferred
