Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Clinical Therapist
Malouf Foundation is a trauma-informed clinical therapy and case management outpatient program serving youth who have experienced sexual exploitation and sexual abuse. The Clinical Therapist provides trauma-informed mental health services to adolescents and families through individual, family, and group therapy, conducting assessments, diagnoses, and developing treatment plans.
Responsibilities
Maintain a caseload of up to 26 direct clinical hours per week
Provide trauma-informed individual, family, and group therapy
Conduct assessments, develop diagnoses within scope, and create individualized treatment plans
Monitor client progress and adjust interventions accordingly
Provide services in office, school, home, and community settings as clinically appropriate
Complete clinical documentation accurately and within established timeframes
Maintain records in accordance with ethical, legal, licensing, and organizational standards
Participate in outcomes tracking, audits, and quality-assurance processes
Work closely with Case Manager, Life Skills Mentor, and the Clinical Director
Participate in weekly supervision and multidisciplinary staffing
Collaborate with external partners including CJCs, MDTs, and allied service providers
Contribute to a respectful, accountable, and trauma-informed team culture
Adhere to Juniper’s clinical model, policies, procedures, and program structure
Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, emotional regulation, and ethical conduct
Engage in required training and continuing education
Perform other non-clinical, incidental tasks to support program operations
Qualification
Required
Active Utah State license (LCSW, CMHC, LMFT, or equivalent)
Masters degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field
Provisionally licensed clinicians must be license-eligible in Utah and actively working toward independent licensure. Clinical supervision is provided in accordance with licensure requirements
Fluent in Spanish (spoken & written)
Professional documentation & charting skills
Clinical experience with adolescents
Clinical experience in family therapy
Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and any additional screenings required for positions serving minors
Comfortable with team case management approach
Willingness to receive clinical oversight and adhere to program structure
Requires use of personal vehicle during work hours; must maintain a current, valid driver's license and active auto insurance. Mileage is reimbursable
Preferred
2+ years clinical experience working with adolescents
Working knowledge of Family Systems Theory
Special training in working with trauma
Experience with Simple Practice or other Electronic Health Record software
Training/experience with sexual exploitation and sex abuse
Certified in ART or EMDR
