Responsibilities

Experience in manufacturing, assembly and fabrication
Interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written work instructions
Setup and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges and optical measuring instruments
Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, fields, and backgrounds
Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and in person
Basic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc
Repetitively climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas
Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs
Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, and other ground support equipment as required
Ability to support the C-Shift schedule (FRI-SUN), extended hours if/when is vital for mission success
Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission

Required

High School diploma or GED
Ability to support the C-Shift schedule (FRI-SUN), extended hours if/when is vital for mission success

Preferred

Use of hand drills, power feed drills (PFD), track drills, Jiffy/E-Tech tools
Knowledge of proper drill speeds and feeds for materials being worked
Use of drill jigs, bomb sites, tools needed for hand placement of holes
Understand hole angularity and importance of quality hole tolerances
Experience drilling through aluminum, titanium, Inconel, composite stacks
Understand clean as you go techniques and need for general cleanliness
Experience in application of sealants, adhesives, paints, and primers
Be able to manage flight and non-flight hardware
Ability to pull holes
Industry certification, trade school training and/or degree in related field
Demonstrated success as a “hands-on” doer and/or leader
Work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with constantly evolving roles and responsibilities

Drive to understand the details of our business and how to optimize it
Experience in handling large aerospace components
Experience in assembling large tight-tolerance structures
Experience in new product introduction
Experience in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment
Certification in Lean Manufacturing
