Start in 2026 SummerVast is dedicated to advancing human presence in space through the development of artificial gravity space stations. They are seeking an Operations Intern to assist the Operations team in enhancing day-to-day activities and operational efficiency within the organization.

Responsibilities
Assist with monitoring daily operations and help gather data or observations on utilization of various programs with a goal of making them more efficient
Support inventory management by helping order supplies and tracking usage under the guidance of the Operations team
Help create, update, and maintain procedures, checklists, and other operational documentation
Communicate and coordinate with employees and vendors via email, messaging platforms, or in-person as needed
Perform general administrative tasks to support effective company operations including assisting with special projects focused on improving procedures, policies, and processes
Qualification
Required
Qualified candidates must be enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program from an accredited college or university in business, operations, engineering, or a related field
Basic proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
Ability to work full-time onsite in Long Beach, CA
Ability to travel between company locations on occasion
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
Preferred
Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
Analytical and detail oriented with a willingness to learn and problem solve
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proactive, professional, and effective in fast-paced environments
Demonstrated integrity and ability to handle sensitive or proprietary information
Interest in operations or aerospace hardware companies
