BOYD Corporation is a market leader and manufacturer of high-performance cooling products for various markets. They are seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to lead new product development teams and manage programs to achieve cost, performance, and schedule goals.

Responsibilities

Lead new product development teams. Manage programs to ensure that cost, performance, and schedule goals are achieved
Run customer facing calls / meetings to discuss program updates & reviews
Design heat exchangers, cold plates and other value-added assemblies to provide differentiated thermal solutions
Write proposals that win new business
Develop and execute verification test plans
Write test procedures and engineering reports

Qualification

Mechanical EngineeringFinite Element AnalysisSolidWorksMicrosoft ProjectHeat Exchanger DesignLab Environment ExperienceProposal WritingCommunication Skills

Required

BS degree in mechanical engineering and 3+ years of experience
Experience with finite element analysis tools
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Working experience with SolidWorks and Microsoft Project
Hands on experience working in lab environment with build/test of development parts and/or manufacturing environment
US Citizen; no dual citizenships

Preferred

MSME degree and design experience with heat exchangers or related thermal management products
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD)
Working knowledge of metal forming, CNC machining, metal joining and heat treating strongly preferred
Experience with aerospace or military product development strongly preferred
