Responsibilities

Records complete description of rental equipment in the cleaning log with date and initials and if applicable include AHM serial number
Cleans and disinfects all rental equipment based on SOP’s propriety to each piece of equipment
Cleans and disinfects using appropriate cleaner (Madacide, Sanazide, etc) and use according to manufacturer directions
Completes, signs and dates appropriate colored quality assurance (QA) tag indicating equipment type, serial number, and complete description
Pulls, stages, and prepares all equipment/stock for daily deliveries, including loading onto the trucks
Updates oxygen manifest with lot numbers of oxygen tanks loaded into trucks
Assists in the inspection of vehicles to ensure compliance with rules, standards, and regulations
Assists in the “patient walk-in” process that is pull and supply all goods and validates with a signed order ticket
Determines if equipment needs to be sent to the Bio-Medical department for electrical bench check
After cleaning equipment, returns to stock in “Patient Ready” area. Equipment must always be tagged and bagged
Cross train as delivery technician as requested
Performs other warehouse functions including sweeping, disposal of cardboard and rubbish, etc., as assigned
Completes required departmental in-services, as required
Completes other duties as assigned

Required

High school graduate or equivalent
Valid NJ State drivers license in good standing and no more than 4 points on driving records
Good organizational skills
Good map reading skills
Responsible and cooperative attitude with sensitivity to patient conditions
