Responsibilities
Manage and develop a four‑person accounting team
Foster cross‑department collaboration and financial clarity
Full month‑end close ownership with timely financial reporting
Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
Oversee A/R, A/P, payroll cycles, and treasury processes
Lead annual audit activities in partnership with external auditors
Manage annual insurance renewals
Coordinate tax filings with outside partners
Budgeting and variance analysis with department leaders
Support operational and strategic decision‑making with financial insights
Build scalable reporting tools leveraging spreadsheets and ERP data
Qualification
Required
~10+ years progressive experience in accounting/finance
3+ years as a Controller or similar leadership position
Inventory/manufacturing accounting experience
Experience within an organization in the ~$15M–$100M revenue range
Strong GAAP knowledge and audit support experience
Demonstrated success leading accounting teams
Hands-on ownership of month-end close, cash management, and reporting
ERP system experience beyond basic small-business platforms
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
