Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of AWS resources
Build and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS and on-prem) to support containerized workloads
Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and application teams to deliver cloud-native solutions that meet performance, scalability, and security requirements
Develop CI/CD automation pipelines and integrate testing, monitoring, and logging frameworks
Optimize infrastructure cost, performance, and reliability through continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with security standards, governance policies, and operational best practices
Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and cloud environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of overall IT experience, including significant hands-on experience with Python
Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, etc.)
Proven expertise with Kubernetes (EKS and/or on premises) for container orchestration and deployment
Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools for cloud automation
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and version control (Git)
Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring in cloud environments
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred
Experience with ArgoCD, Helm, or other deployment automation tools
Knowledge of Docker, Linux administration, and microservices architecture
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and compliance automation
Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
