Responsibilities
Architecture & Vision: Define and drive the long-term frontend architecture, ensuring it can support millions of concurrent users
High-Impact Shipping: Lead the execution of complex, user-facing features from ideation through to global deployment
Technical Excellence: Elevate engineering standards through rigorous code reviews, documentation, and the implementation of best practices
Scale & Performance: Obsess over frontend performance, hydration, and rendering speeds to maintain our reputation for high-polish interfaces
Mentorship: Act as a technical lead, elevating the team's capabilities and fostering a culture of high-agency building
Qualification
Required
Deep professional experience with React and Next.js, having shipped multiple high-traffic production web applications
A profound understanding of modern frontend architecture, including server-side rendering (SSR), hydration, and complex performance tradeoffs
Mastery of advanced state management and data-fetching patterns
Experience operating in high-growth, high-ownership environments where speed is a competitive advantage
Must be able to work on-site in NYC
Preferred
Experience within the Crypto / Web3 industry
Previous experience at a high-growth scale-up with a rigorous engineering culture
Familiarity with performance profiling, frontend observability, and analytics
A portfolio of work on consumer-facing products with large, active user bases
