The Sales Marketing Intern will work closely with the Head of Sales to support retail expansion and sales initiatives, gaining hands-on experience in sales, retail strategy, and business development within the consumer goods and pet industry.

Responsibilities
Work alongside the Head of Sales to support efforts to increase K9 Wear’s retail presence
Research and identify potential new retail partners across various channels, including independent pet stores, mid-sized pet chains, clubs, department stores, hardware stores, and off-price retailers
Assist with sales outreach, follow-ups, and account organization
Assist with tracking sales activity and maintaining organized prospect lists
Gain exposure to retail buying cycles, pitches, and partner relationships
Access to CRM and Prospecting Tools
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field
Strong interest in sales, retail, and consumer products
Organized with strong attention to detail
Comfortable communicating professionally via email, phone, and presentations
Self-motivated and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Interest in pets or the pet industry is a plus
