Responsibilities
Design and deploy monitoring solutions across infrastructure, network, application, and database platforms
Define and drive enterprise monitoring strategy, standards, and best practices
Ensure accurate metric collection at appropriate intervals for alerting, reporting, and analytics
Build and maintain dashboards that consolidate monitoring data across multiple teams and tools
Partner with engineering and operations teams to ensure high availability and reduced system downtime
Maintain monitoring platform health, including upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting (independently or with vendors)
Participate in planning for new deployments to ensure monitoring requirements are embedded from the start
Collaborate on scripts, queries, and automation to support self-healing environments
Produce reports and trend analysis on system health, performance, and alert volumes
Ensure monitoring and alerting integrate seamlessly with Incident Management and response workflows
Qualification
Required
Must be local and able to work on site
No third party vendors or CTC resources
Must be able to join on our W2
Experience monitoring complex, highly available environments (healthcare strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, applications, and database monitoring
Hands-on experience with dashboards, alerting, logs, and performance analysis
Ability to balance operational support with project-based initiatives
Strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort presenting to technical teams and leadership
