Engineer/Architect 2 (PCN 253425)
NEOGOV is seeking an Engineer/Architect 2 to support the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities at Anchorage International Airport. The role involves leading capital improvement projects, supervising facility maintenance, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance airport operations.

Responsibilities
Lead delivery of the Airport’s Capital Improvement Program for buildings, guiding projects from concept through successful closeout
Direct multiple facility maintenance projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, stay on budget, and finish on schedule
Supervise staff and advance the Airport’s building permits program
Collaborate with Airport leadership as well as Federal and State officials to move projects forward
Partner with consultants and contractors to design and implement high-value improvements
Provide technical expertise to shape future airport development
Support operational goals through additional assignments that enhance airport performance
Qualification
Required
Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect
One year of professional experience as an Engineer/Architect 1 or Engineering Associate with the State of Alaska, or the equivalent
Must be certified Professional Engineer or Architect in the State of Alaska
Valid driver's license
Must pass an FBI fingerprint based, criminal history records check per 49 CFR Part 1542
Must pass a Transportation Security Administration Security Threat Assessment to obtain an Airport issued Identification Badge
Must become registered in Alaska within one year of hire if not already registered in the State of Alaska
Three (3) professional references, including name, job title, and current phone numbers
Professional Engineering License or Architect license
Cover letter describing how you possess the position specific competencies listed in the 'Who We Are Looking For' section
Education credentials verification, including transcripts if applicable
