Responsibilities
Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools
Maintain reusable Terraform modules and ensure best practices for versioning and state management
Architect and optimize AWS environments for scalability, security, and cost efficiency
Manage VPCs, EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, IAM, and other AWS services
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
Automate deployments for applications and infrastructure
Implement monitoring solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools
Ensure robust logging and alerting for system health and performance
Enforce security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards
Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments
Work closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in AWS cloud architecture and services
Strong proficiency in Terraform (modules, workspaces, remote state, etc.)
Experience with CI/CD tools and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS)
Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, and automation frameworks
BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
Preferred
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification
Experience with Ansible, Packer, or Terraform Cloud/Enterprise
