Responsibilities
Computer generate creative advertising materials and forms for Cal Spas corporate office
Proofread all jobs and spell check
Print in-house POP posters, banners, and other materials as required to promote Cal Spas products
Work with outside printers for best possible prices and schedule press times
Prepare camera-ready art for promotional materials
Assist with copywriting as requested and be aware of state-of-the-art media used by our market competitors
Coordinate work with in-house printing department to assure that all materials are available on a timely basis to meet Cal Spas promotional program timelines
Have skills in the use of all office equipment, including large format printers, copiers, standard printers, etc
Assist as required with the print shop to assure that all schedules are maintained
Prepare MIU (Monthly Information Updates) materials as required and in concert with the instructions from marketing management
Assure that all departmental computers and other equipment is maintained in accordance with manufacturer’s requirements and that necessary preventative maintenance schedules are followed
Assure that adequate printing materials such as papers, films, transparencies, and inks and toners are available at all times so as to assure the ability of the department to meet short term projects
Maintain comprehensive files of all completed work for potential future use
Obtain various forms of art materials for inclusion into Cal Spas promotional materials
Awareness that promotional activities such as dealer meetings and trade shows require significant increases in man-hours to meet schedules and be consistently available to meet those demands
Qualification
Required
Experience in graphic design and creating advertising materials
Ability to proofread and spell check all jobs
Experience in printing in-house POP posters, banners, and other materials
Ability to work with outside printers for pricing and scheduling
Experience in preparing camera-ready art for promotional materials
Ability to assist with copywriting as requested
Familiarity with state-of-the-art media used by market competitors
Skills in using all office equipment, including large format printers and copiers
Ability to coordinate work with in-house printing department
Experience in preparing Monthly Information Updates (MIU) materials
Knowledge of maintaining departmental computers and equipment
Ability to assure adequate printing materials are available
Experience in maintaining comprehensive files of completed work
Ability to obtain various forms of art materials for promotional use
Awareness of the increased man-hours required for promotional activities
