Responsibilities
Lead the design and scale-up of chemical processes from lab to commercial scale, emphasizing reaction chemistry and process control
Apply engineering knowledge to create safe, scalable, and sustainable processes while improving efficiency and reducing costs
Collaborate with R&D and Operations teams to ensure seamless technology transfer and manufacturability of products
Design and develop, PFD’s, P&ID’s, process controls, operating procedures and safety specifications for new and existing systems
Plan and analyze pilot-scale studies to drive process improvements and implement new technologies
Troubleshoot processes and equipment, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to maintain quality and compliance
Support process safety engineering and operations through PHA, HAZOP, MOC and FMEA analysis
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related field
Proven experience in laboratory, pilot or operations role as an engineer
In-depth knowledge of and experience with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
Familiarity with mechanical systems and their integration with electrical components
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with high standard
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
