Responsibilities
Prepare capital project contracts with outside vendors for architect/engineer services and construction
Preparation of State capital requests and documentation to obtain State approval for the release and encumbrance of funding
Processing and tracking of financial requirements for all capital projects
Providing support services to the Director, Business Operations & Director, Campus Planning & Design/University Architect
Making independent decisions related to capital project contracts to ensure business continues as usual
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree and 5-7 years experience or minimum of 10 years of experience in higher education capital planning and administration at the State level in lieu of Bachelors Degree
Strong knowledge and understanding of construction processes and methods
Strong written and oral communication skills
Fluency in working with Microsoft Office
Preferred
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or directly related field preferred
Knowledge of the policies and contract procedures of the State of Ohio, Facilities Construction Commission preferred
