Responsibilities
Lead UX design efforts for high-visibility projects in the consumer/retail space
Act as a senior design presence in meetings, clearly articulating design rationale and decisions
Advocate for user-centered and customer-centric thinking throughout the product lifecycle
Collaborate effectively with product, engineering, marketing, research, and internal/external enterprise partners
Navigate and lead stakeholder discussions, balancing business goals with user needs
Design intuitive, engaging mobile and web experiences with strong visual craft
Leverage and evolve existing design systems while thoughtfully pushing beyond limitations when needed
Translate research findings, data, and insights into innovative design solutions
Participate in and help conduct research studies, usability testing, and discovery activities
Use data and metrics to inform, validate, and iterate on design decisions
Tell compelling stories through design artifacts, presentations, and your portfolio
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a UX Designer, with a strong emphasis on consumer or retail products
Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively
A clear design point of view and confident voice, backed by thoughtful rationale
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and enterprise partners
Strong mobile and web design expertise
Out-of-the-box thinking paired with strong problem-solving skills
High level of creative visual design craftsmanship
Experience working with design systems and knowing when and how to evolve them
Data-driven design approach with experience interpreting qualitative and quantitative insights
A portfolio that showcases great storytelling, versatility, and impact across projects
