As a Payload & Avionics Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the manufacture and refurbishment of payload and avionics systems, working closely with the engineering team to support flight operations.

Responsibilities

Manufacture and integration of electro-mechanical assemblies
Semi-automated testing of completed assemblies
Troubleshoot and track manufacturing issues with assistance from our Electrical Engineering team

Qualification

Required

Experience with assembly, repair and troubleshooting in an ESD sensitive environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and precision
Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of mechanical concepts
Good problem solving, troubleshooting, critical thinking and creative thinking skills
Experience with MS Office
Able to keep a clean and well-maintained workspace using 5S philosophy
Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Located or willing to relocate to Denver, CO
Proficiency with job-relevant modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, GitHub Copilot)

Preferred

Exposure to a startup environment
Ability to read and understand schematics and wiring diagrams
Experience with Lean Manufacturing environment
Experience with RCA (root cause analysis) and FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) processes
Experience with technical writing
Experience with through hole and SMD soldering
