Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with the Site Merchandising team and all cross-functional departments on daily and collection deliverables
Manage product setup and merchandising data updates within the eCommerce platform and associated systems (CMS, PIM-like system, DAM, Shopify) in partnership with the buying, marketing, and creative teams
Own, maintain and ensure the integrity of product data
Ensure accurate and timely execution of site updates across categories, collections, and promotions
Lead the lifecycle of product launches (from building to QA), seasonal collections, and promotional events
Participate in routine quality assurance of the site to verify the accuracy of, including but not limited to, copy, pricing, categorization, badging, and filters
Work cross-functionally with the creative team to ensure that product copy, images, and video assets adhere to site guidelines
Offer support to the customer service team to address product inquiries and/or issues
Troubleshoot and escalate site issues and risks as necessary while independently managing day-to-day execution within established merchandising strategies
Support the execution and QA of sales
Document workflows, best practices, and recurring site processes to enhance team efficiency and consistency
Demonstrate the ability to make timely decisions, anticipate problems, and propose creative solutions
Strive for operational excellence, utilizing data and customer insights to deliver a best-in-class experience
Assist merchandisers with the implementation of site and product optimizations
Undertake other projects and responsibilities as dictated by business needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
1+ years of e-commerce and merchandising experience
Experience working with large sku counts
Self-starter who is able to take initiative, has endless curiosity and isn't afraid to challenge the way we are doing things today
Superior organizational and time management skills
Ability to execute detail-oriented work with high accuracy and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, email, telephone) with a strong attention to detail
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (primarily Excel) required
Basic HTML/CSS a significant plus
Preferred
Experience in Shopify systems is a plus
Love for the furniture / home decor industry
