Responsibilities
Assisting in security vulnerability assessments
Physical and electronic security design reviews
Following up and assisting during the construction and implementation of the security design
Responsible for system acceptance testing and validation
Qualification
Required
Ten (10) or more years of professional experience in the design, review, and application of physical and electronic security systems for two or more of the following sectors involving new construction, redevelopment, and renovation: Commercial Office, Industrial, Transportation Systems, Transportation Infrastructure
Ten (10) or more years of professional experience creating detailed functional designs and associated Concepts of Operation (CONOPS) that leverage the following risk mitigation techniques: Video Surveillance, Physical Access Control, Portal-based Intrusion Detection, Wide-area Perimeter Intrusion Detection, Active Deterrents, Physical Barriers, Psychological Barriers
Current PSP or CPP certification from the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS International)
Current Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Professional Designation (CPD) certification from the National Institute of Crime Prevention (NICP)
Strong interpersonal and time management skills
Proficiency in communicating financial information to various stakeholders and related technical staff
Ability to prioritize and concurrently service multiple projects
Maintain effective communication with the program manager, project managers, and team members
Interacts well with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds productive and trusted relationships
Excellent planning and organization skills are required for our demanding environment, and must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new duties

Preferred
Certification from one or more IP surveillance camera (IP-CCTV) manufacturer: Axis, Avigilon, Sony, Bosch, etc
Certification from one or more Video Management System (VMS) manufacturer: Avigilon, Genetec, Milestone, etc
Certification from one or more Physical Access Control System (PACS) manufacturer: Galaxy, Lenel/S2, Software House, etc
Familiarity with state and national building and other codes related to physical and electronic security systems (NEC/NFPA 70, ADA, ICC, ASCE)
Familiarity with inter-city passenger rail operations, infrastructure, and pertinent safety and security regulations
