Responsibilities
Use attention to detail to verify that final work products, including statements and letters, meet written instructions and production standards
Identify and communicate deficiencies in work tickets and coordinate efforts to correct errors
Examine materials by confirming required manufacturing or industry specifications using visual and measurement tests
Reject and return unacceptable materials and document rework as needed
Explain quality issues to operators and supervisors when products do not meet client instructions
Move throughout the facility to verify job accuracy across multiple machines
Cross-train in different departments, including postal, shipping, and hand table
Report quality concerns or issues to senior management immediately
Ensure all outgoing product is 100% accurate
Input production and quality data into internal systems
Learn and understand the full production process and the QA role within it
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and regulations
Inspect materials and products using fixed or preset measuring instruments
Ensure materials and products meet established tolerance levels and are not damaged
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail
Basic measuring skills, including the ability to read a ruler and other measuring devices
Basic problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills, including opening, saving, printing files, and entering data
Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on production needs
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information clearly
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
Regular operation of machinery and handling of print materials
Frequent movement throughout the facility
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 25+ pounds
Preferred
High school diploma or GED
Prior experience in the print industry or a fast-paced, high-production environment
