Mechanical Engineer, New College Graduate ( Teradyne, North Reading, MA)
Teradyne is a global leader in test and automation solutions, specializing in ensuring electronic devices function effectively. They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their Mechanical Engineering Group, where the individual will assist in developing Semiconductor Test Systems and engage in various engineering tasks including prototype assembly and lifecycle testing.

Responsibilities
Assisting in assembly and validation of Engineering prototypes
Executing lifecycle testing on equipment in the lab
Use SolidWorks to create parts, assemblies, drawings, and FEA simulations. Create assembly level BoMs and release these items on ECNs
Participate in team meetings, and present quantitative and qualitative findings in an organized and professional manner
Assisting with thermal testing and simulations
Qualification
Required
Must have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks part creation, drawings, and large assemblies
Knowledge of drafting and design standards (ANSI Y14.5 GD & T)
Understanding of design for assembly and manufacturing (DFA and DFM principles)
Knowledge of measurement systems and techniques
Strong ability to communicate
Ability to quickly learn and apply new information
Ability to manage their time
Positive attitude
