Senior Continuous Improvement Engineer

Responsibilities

Plan & lead cross-functional kaizen events focused on lean fundamentals, standard work, visual management, flow, problem-solving and strategic growth/ capacity initiatives
Drive the implementation of tools and processes across operations, supply chain, engineering, and commercial functions
Develop internal capability by training and coaching team members/ leaders in lean thinking, daily management and continuous improvement practice
Create and execute improvement roadmaps based on assessments of the business system maturity
Enable teams to embrace standardization, accountability, and data-driven decision making
Identify, document and disseminate internal best practices
Will be expected to perform additional duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field; MBA or Master's preferred
7–10+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement, preferably in a multi-site or matrixed industrial environment
Proven understanding of Lean Principles (e.g., 5S, value stream mapping, standard work, visual management, PDCA, SMED, A3 problem solving)
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional kaizen events and system-wide CI initiatives
Proven understanding of basic ops finance, including P&L impact, cost drivers, and fixed vs. variable costs
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration and mentoring junior engineers
Demonstrated career ambition with a track record of growth and increasing responsibility; highly promotable with the potential to take on broader leadership roles within a fast-paced, high-growth organization
