Responsibilities

Perform regular financial-related administrative tasks such as adding suppliers, creating requisitions, reallocating and substantiating credit cards, and creating expense reports
Responsible for coordination, organization, oversight, and facilitation of pivotal projects, including the annual faculty conference, Provost retreat, faculty spotlight booklet, and other departmental events. Key responsibilities involve securing venues, parking, and catering services, as well as creating agendas, compiling meeting minutes, and preparing essential documentation as required
Responsible for aiding in the administration, organization, maintenance of websites and management of various university committees and events, namely the University Academic Council, University Tenure Committee, Deans' Council, University Housing Committee, the Faith and Heritage Committee of the Board of Regents, and University Faculty Council and the Mallmann house. This role requires the exercise of tact, diplomacy, and discretion on a variety of complex and sensitive issues
Serve as the Provost's Office liaison to various constituents through written correspondence, phone, and in-person contact. In addition to providing guidance to faculty and outside constituents initiating requests to the Provost's Office
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree or higher
Excellent communication (writing and oral) skills
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks at one time
Knowledge of institutional organization, policies, goals, and mission
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Preferred

1-2 years experience demonstrating a strong foundation in administrative support within fast-paced office environments
Ability to maintain a professional front, remain organized while completing tasks in a timely manner, and work collaboratively in a small team/across departments
Ability and willingness to report to multiple supervisors and meet priority deadlines
Familiarity with PeopleSoft
