Responsibilities
Create scroll‑stopping visual and motion content that builds brand love and sparks conversation
Produce compelling static, carousel, story, and video content for organic social
Bring a creator mindset experiment with formats, trends, and emerging visual styles
Edit and produce short-form videos for social and customer marketing needs
Enhance content with captions, titles, motion graphics, and light animation
Create video cutdowns from event footage, customer interviews, demos, and leadership content
Optimize assets for multiple aspect ratios: 1:1, 9:16, 16:9
Develop reusable short-form templates for speed and consistency
Turn briefs, timestamps, and rough cuts into polished social-ready assets
Support fast-turnaround requests (same-day or next-day)
Manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines
Collaborate closely with Social, Customer Marketing, and Creative/Brand teams
Champion Slack’s mission: making work simpler, more pleasant, and productive
Qualification
Required
4–8 years of video editing & motion design experience
Strong portfolio showcasing short-form, social-first content
Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, Figma, or similar tools
Deep knowledge of social-first best practices (hooks, pacing, captions, narrative flow)
Strong abilities with AI creative tools (AI-first workflow)
Able to work independently and incorporate feedback quickly
Effective communicator and collaborator across teams
Experience working within brand systems
Preferred
Experience with B2B, SaaS, or tech brands
Concept development with or without structured briefs
Familiarity with customer marketing & event-driven content
Experience building scalable short-form video templates
Comfortable working in fast-paced, Slack-driven environments
