Senior LevelApetan Consulting LLC is seeking a senior-level Workday Time & Absence Lead with active Workday certifications and proven Workday Launch experience to support a Phase 2 implementation. This role will lead Time & Absence design and configuration and ensure seamless integration with Workday Payroll and downstream systems.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end Workday Time & Absence configuration and deployment
Design and configure:
Time entry methods and validations
Absence plans, accruals, and eligibility rules
Time calculation rules and condition rules
Partner closely with Payroll and Benefits teams to ensure payroll-impacting time configurations are accurate
Support integrations between Time & Absence, Payroll, and third-party systems
Manage data conversion, validation, and reconciliation for Time & Absence
Lead and support testing phases (Unit, Integration, UAT)
Provide production support and issue resolution during deployment
Actively participate in and lead Workday Launch methodology activities
Serve as the primary Time & Absence SME for the Kainos implementation team
Qualification
Required
Active Workday Time & Absence Certification
Workday Launch Implementation Experience – Mandatory
Active Workday Implementer Certification
Proven experience leading Workday Launch implementations
Strong hands-on Workday configuration experience in Time & Absence
Deep understanding of Time & Absence to Payroll integration
Experience with Time tracking frameworks
Experience with Accrual calculations and carryover rules
Experience with Overtime, shift differentials, and compliance rules
Excellent client-facing and leadership skills
Preferred
Prior experience working with Kainos is highly preferred
