Senior LevelPDS is looking for a strong QA Engineer with deep automation experience to lead automation efforts across web and mobile applications within a large enterprise platform. The role involves architecting frameworks, building automated tests, and collaborating closely with developers and product owners to ensure high-quality releases.

Responsibilities
Mentor and coach Software Test Engineers on automation practices
Build and maintain automated test frameworks using JavaScript/TypeScript and Cypress
Develop automated tests for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end scenarios
Test applications and services within AWS environments
Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Evaluate tools and enhance automation frameworks
Track defects, support UAT, and ensure high-quality releases
Perform manual testing when necessary
Document test plans, strategies, and traceability
Qualification
Required
Proven experience designing automated test strategies and scenarios
Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages
Expertise with Cypress automation for UI and API testing
Experience testing AWS services
Background in both manual and automated API/UI testing
Understanding of modern frameworks such as Angular, Node.js, Bootstrap, and Express
Cypress automation for UI and API
JavaScript / TypeScript (Java or C# also helpful)
AWS testing, including Lambda and back-end services
API and back-end automated test development
Experience building end-to-end automation frameworks
Strong communicator and collaborative mindset
Able to lead automation strategy and mentor others
Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in Agile environments
Ownership mentality with focus on quality and continuous improvement
Preferred
Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, Postman, or similar automation tools
Experience testing RESTful APIs
Familiarity with qTest, TFS, ALM, or similar test management tools
Exposure to performance testing tools such as Gatling or JMeter
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, Heroku, Perfecto, SauceLabs)
Understanding of SOA, TDD/BDD, and CI/CD best practices
