In this role, the UI/UX designer shall be responsible for crafting pixel-perfect user interfaces that enhance the usability and overall user experience for a family of web applications.

Responsibilities
Crafting pixel-perfect user interfaces that enhance the usability and overall user experience for a family of web applications
Responsible for the visual layout, styling of web pages, making key decisions in color, typography, and iconography in component design
Qualification
Required
Basic understanding using the Linux CLI
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer
Proficiency using UI design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch
Strong understanding of UI layout principles, design systems, responsive design principles and concepts
Solid understanding of color theory, typography, iconography, and visual hierarchy
Familiarity with the Gestalt laws of perceptual organization
Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and CSS
A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UI/UX design artifacts
An active TS/SCI with a Maryland polygraph is required
Preferred
Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
