National Sales Manager - Electrical Enclosures
Electrical Career Specialists is an established electrical enclosure and metal fabrication company with decades of experience in the U.S. market. They are seeking a National Sales Manager to lead national sales efforts for electrical enclosure and metal fabrication solutions, targeting the Data Center, OEM, and Integrator markets, while developing strategic sales plans to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities
Lead national sales efforts for electrical enclosure and metal fabrication solutions, with a focus on the electrical industry
Target the exploding Data Center, OEM and Integrator markets for opportunities
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue and profit goals
Build and maintain relationships with electrical distributors, manufacturer's reps, and key accounts
Travel extensively throughout the U.S. to meet with existing accounts, outreach to potential new customers, and attend trade shows
Collaborate with manufacturer's rep agencies to maximize market penetration and sales coverage
Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approaches
Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients
Provide regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and market intelligence
Qualification
Required
7+ years of progressive sales experience in the electrical industry, with a proven track record of success in sales management
Direct experience working for an electrical distributor, manufacturer, or manufacturer's rep/agency is required
Strong understanding of electrical enclosures, components, and utility/industrial applications is desired
Established relationships with key decision-makers in the electrical distribution channel
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans
Experience managing manufacturer's representatives
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
Willingness to travel throughout the United States
