The role involves year-round bookkeeping, payroll processing, and support for tax return preparation, ensuring timely filing of all necessary forms and financial statements.

Responsibilities
Process payroll for clients
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for clients
File federal payroll returns, including forms 941, 943, 944, 940
File state withholding, unemployment and applicable sales tax returns
Assist clients with payroll notices
Maintain proficiency in payroll software and financial statement setup
Prepare annual payroll forms including W-2’s, 1099’s and related filings
Assist with individual and business tax return preparation
Support staff and clients with year-end reporting needs
Qualification
Required
Experience in bookkeeping and payroll preferred
Understanding of payroll laws and multi-client bookkeeping workflows
Strong accuracy, organization, and time-management skills
Ability to research and stay up to date on regulatory changes
