Responsibilities
Assess, analyze, research, document data requirements, and ensure the use of data best practices and standards
Assist in the coordination and optimization of operations and program functions and provide recommendations
Assist with analysis across numerous related initiatives and leading special projects as assigned by leadership
Develop data analysis tools, define data requirements, and provide recommendations to project leadership
Develop or contribute in the development of data models to identify opportunities for greater operational efficiencies
Work with staff to initiate, facilitate, or participate in projects to maximize the success of multiple and diverse projects
Establish benchmarks and develop frameworks for operational trend analysis and performance measurement
Acquire data from various sources, create reports on a regular basis, and perform deep analysis of underlying trends and correlations
Develop metadata, tables and user interfaces to define clear reports for business users
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
Ability to identify and solve complex problems
Ability to prepare concise analytical reports
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
Must be able to pass a background check
Ability to research, gather, assemble, correlate and analyze facts
Ability to transform data into information that can be utilized to make business decisions
Skilled in effectively mapping data and identifying improvements
Establishes benchmarks and develops frameworks for operational trend analysis and performance measurement
Experience with the analysis of data policies and procedures to determine their effect on automated systems and system functional areas
Acquires data from various sources, creates reports on a regular basis, and performs deep analysis of underlying trends and correlations
Develops metadata, tables and user interfaces to define clear reports for business users
State or Federal Public Sector experience
Preferred
Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field
Able to use creativity and specialty reporting tools to define and develop data reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
Experience developing strategic and project SDLC materials, including gap analysis, recommendations, roadmaps, requirements, design documents, system and data flow diagrams, test cases, and use cases
