Manager, Strategy & Data Analytics
Think Traffic is a rapidly growing advertising/marketing firm based in Philadelphia, and they are seeking a Manager for Strategy & Data Analytics. Responsibilities
Work with client and agency teams to develop project/account briefs
Drive understanding of emerging digital platforms and ability to leverage for the client
Be the consumer advocate on clients’ business throughout project development
Understand key emerging digital trends and identify opportunities to leverage them in service of the client
Educate client and internal teams on the value of digital channels, best practices and ongoing evolution implications
Coordinate with team to inform briefs and agency work
Work with cross-agency teams to ensure development of cohesive marketing briefs, plans and programs
Provide value to clients by delivering strategic thinking that enables agency to provide work that is relevant and distinctive
Support and present as part of new and existing business development
Help manage and lead new business programs and agency marketing efforts
Optimize the use of digital measurement tools and customized dashboards to quantify the impact and return on traditional, direct and digital marketing initiatives
Work closely with Account Service, Digital, Social Media and Media teams to make specific and actionable client recommendations
Provide analysis of website traffic for key clients including periodic summaries and ad hoc requests, including designing dashboards and Powerpoint/Keynote reports
Responsible for the collection and synthesizing of data for clients. Data sources typically include: ad trafficking programs, direct marketing campaigns, social and mobile media initiatives, web analytic tools and client databases
Understand client’s business requirements and design reporting and analysis tailored to their needs
Stay current with client and industry benchmarks
Assisting managing reporting process for Facial Analytics company, working with Tableau and PowerBI to create reports and distribute them to customers
Helping Identify new key metrics and calculations and work with development team implementing and incorporate them into the model and downstream reporting
Demo reporting capabilities to potential customers
Servicing ad-hoc reporting requests, often requiring analysis and delivering insight-based reports
Analyze client’s strategies lead overall vision for business modeling and business case development
Monitor and identify unique opportunities for revenue growth and/or market awareness to respond quickly to dynamic marketplace and client needs, react to competitive pressures and dynamics, and identify new and changing market opportunities
Identify, assess, and implement strategic organizational capabilities and partner initiatives in a profitable manner to evolve digital media planning and buying capabilities
Deliver tracking analysis and reports to support client campaigns, programs and platforms
Provide insight to drive ongoing optimization of all campaigns
Develop actionable media test matrices and strategies with which to identify areas of potential for campaign expansion
Deliver models and other advanced statistical solutions to client business case and marketing issues
Develop tracking and reporting requirements, particularly web analytics and social media
Qualification
Required
Must be confident and self-sufficient. This position requires leadership of analytical initiatives so candidates must be willing to problem solve and drive their own solutions forward
Strong analytical skills, must be proficient in analyzing and interpreting internet-related data from standard software packages, SAS and client databases
Deep experience with web and social analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Native Social Reporting
Solid understanding of the fundamentals of direct marketing, digital advertising and social media
Strong writing skills that can effectively communicate insights, outcomes and implications
Deck building experience with Keynote/PPT
5+ years experience in an Analytics role and digital marketing environment
Specific experience in planning, research, insights or emerging media
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated success with client relationships, team management and business development
Ability to multitask and prioritize within a fast paced environment
Bachelors' Degree required, in statistics, mathematics, science, business administration or marketing
Preferred
Agency background with interactive, direct marketing and social media experience is a plus
Database management experience is a plus
