CAS Property and Casualty Claims Supervisor

Responsibilities
Manage staff caseloads and provide appropriate direction as needed
Informs and instructs staff as to proper policy and procedure and follows up to ensure desired results
Audits and evaluates staff performance, identifies areas where training is needed and facilitates learning in an effort to promote employee development
Discuss claims questions and issues with employees and clients
Serves as a liaison between staff and management team
Assists the Claims Manager with projects as needed
Communicates directly with client
Prepares reports and other analytical data as requested by the management team
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of experience handling Property and Casualty claims. Public entity experience is a plus
Must hold a valid P&C license
Preferred
Previous experience in managing a team of workers' compensation adjusters, property and casualty adjusters and/or support staff
All-Lines Texas Adjuster License
College degree
3 years of supervisory experience
