Simulation Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities
Coordinates and supports simulation activities across multiple GHS simulation sites
Collaborates with faculty to design, implement, and refine simulation scenarios aligned with educational objectives
Manages daily lab operations, including setup, teardown, equipment maintenance, and inventory control
Maintains clean, safe, and organized simulation environments at all locations
Provides technical support for simulation and multimedia equipment, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades
Develops realistic simulation scenarios using props, role-play, and scripted dialogue
Serves as the primary liaison with vendors; coordinate equipment servicing and procurement
Delivers training and professional development for faculty and staff on simulation best practices and technologies
Participates in local, state, and national simulation networks and professional organizations
Responds to internal and external inquiries regarding simulation services and capabilities
Researches and recommends emerging technologies, tools, and instructional materials to enhance simulation-based learning
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
Minimum of 1 year-Related work experience
Preferred
EMT, Paramedic, Surgical Technician or CSR role
Associate's Degree-Related Field of Study
